An “Ace” Night

By Kate Paraskevas

On Sunday the 25th of March, the rain held off long enough for the Wheelers Hill Tennis Clubs‘ function to run as planned. It was a night of great food, good company and of course a hit of tennis.

Sponsored by our very own Cristine Jones and assisted by Michael Lauria, Peter Cresia and Andrew Davies, the night went off without a hitch; with drinks and nibbles set up for the guests upon arrival and a gourmet barbeque being cooked up throughout the evening.

The presentation on the night, was for all of the young up and coming tennis stars of Australia; with individual and team awards being handed out respectively.

All in all, the night was a success, with a total of 70 – 80 guests turning out to enjoy a fun-filled evening of  tennis and mingling. The Wheelers Hill Tennis Club also enjoyed signing up some new members and Ray White Glen Waverley enjoyed meeting new people and being a part of such a great community.

Ray White Glen Waverley would like to give a big thanks to all involved, in particular the Wheelers Hill Tennis Club and all of the guests that attended.
