For the tenth consecutive year in a row, Ray White, the largest property group in Australasia will sponsor one of Victoria’s most recognised sporting events… and tonight 5000 Ray White members and clients will attend the much-loved annual event.
The Ray White EJ Whitten Legends Game will see over 50 recently retired AFL superstars battle it out in the annual State of Origin showdown, at Etihad Stadium tonight.
According to Ray White Victoria’s General Manager Kristy Bartlett, the game itself is a highlight however, it is the power of community and generous spirit that really comes alive.
“In the same way that the legends game has been bringing people together to celebrate some of the great players and memorable moments in AFL, this event brings our network of 87 offices and 1000 people across Victoria together in the spirit of charity, sport and community.”
“Now in its eighteenth year, the Ray White EJ Whitten Legends Game is a unique fundraising
initiative to raise money for prostate cancer research and to promote the awareness of
men’s health.” said Kristy.
Each year in Australia, more than 3300 men die of prostate cancer and around 20,000 new cases are diagnosed. Approximately 1 in 9 Australian men will develop prostate cancer in their lifetime. The EJ Whitten Foundation, which was formed in 1995 to commemorate the legacy Ted Whitten, aims to increase national awareness of prostate cancer, promote early detection and raise funds for research into the disease.
